| The location is gorgeous. Our suite was clean but obviously a bit dated .
Our problem was the walls are very thin and we could hear next door talking all night.
So check whether the next rooms are occupied or not. |

| The fornt desk told us upon check-in that we'd have refridgerator and microwave. When we opened the door to our room got hit with a very musty smell and no microwave. We immediately reported this to the front desk so they wouldn't think we took it. The stand alone shower was very, very small. I'm not very big and I could barely turn around in it. My husband is a big man and he was quite uncomfortable. The refridgerator made a constant noise making it hard to sleep. The closest restaurant is well into Cooperstown and the road there was very dark. I think this would be a better motel in the summer. |

| We had so much fun playing tag on the great lawn and fishing in the lake. The views of the lake and the sky from our upper rooms were great. It was a laid-back atmosphere perfect for relaxing. After a vacation here I didn't feel the need for a vacation to recover! I returned home happy and well rested. |

| The room was very clean inside and out. The lake is not quite a step a way as i imagined, have to cross route 80 to get there.
The applicances were kinda old, stove and fridge, but worked good enough. The beds weren't exactly the most comfortable, but for 1 or 2 nites, good enough.
About a 5-10 min drive to the HOF. |

| Great motel, price and location. About 5-10 minute ride to baseball hall of fame. Great views of lake, if your looking somewhere to lay your hat one or two days this is it. Not a longer stay than that... Id recommend a hotel. Cheers. |

| All was well but the place has a mildew smell. I can't stand the oder. But the manager was wonderful. The location is outside of Copperstown not to far but we mistaked it for another lakeside hotel that is like 6 miles different. But otherwise the place was kept well good size room and inexspensive. |

| I recently spent two nights at the Lake View. It is a vintage cottage-look motel. Office staff were friendly and helpful with local restaurant choices. Beautiful lake view across the parking lot and street, so location lives up to the name.
Nothing fancy here, although microwave and mini-fridge appeared new.
Clean facility and provided all I was looking for. Will return when/if I'm in the neighborhood.

| Amenities, location and staff were very nice and helpful but the room was not vacuumed and the plastic mattress pads were hot and noisy when rolling over. |

| I booked this motel on my way home to Ontario, just passing through Cooperstown. I couldn't believe my luck when I got there and saw how lovely the location was, it got even better when my room had a little deck and bench facing the water. The room was spotless to boot!! I was there off season and the rate was phenomenal for such a location. My only minus is that it is located on a busy, fast road (as are all the motels on hwy80 - so no fault of the motel, it is well posted to use caution). Use caution if you are traveling with wee ones that need to cross the road to get to the beach access or little deck that overlooks the water. |
